DUNU DN11 ARES

One look a  the Ares and it screams expensive. Beautiful polished golden finish with tapered curved design. The all metal construction feels substantial in you hand. They are weighty but not enough that they fall out of your ear or weigh your head down.

The Ares comes with an assortment of silicone tips to provide a perfect tight fit for any ear.

Three carry and storage case to suit your taste.

One feature I loved is the built on cord wrapper. Keeps wire from getting tangled and easy to store.

Now lets talk about how it sounds. The Ares has a balance armature transducer. This is more advance than a typical dynamic transducer and is perfect for producing fine details.

Bass: Ares bass is very tight. Its like a good acoustic suspension speaker. No Boominess. Just clean and musical bass. Not the deepest bass I've heard but definitely full and pleasurable.
Midrange: The midrange is  detailed. The Ares strongest area probably due to the balanced armature driver.  Vocals are sweet sounding and instrumental acoustical pieces image well.
Treble: Treble is balanced with the midrange. a little airy which is great for classical music.
Overall Takeaway: The Ares are for those looking for Audiophile type goodness. Good vocals, airy topend, and bass that isn't overwhelming. Perfect for everyday use listening as well as critical listening.

Price for the DUNU ARES is about $80. It's a bargain at this price point.

The Dunu Ares are currently available for purchase on ebay
